About the Omni Paint. I used that on my truck. The Blue color you see now is Omni Paint. The clear is PPG DCU 2002. That is a good clear. I don't know if I want to truck the Omni clear as it will not hold up as well. The color works for me. A gallon of Blue was $101, and I am sure if I went with the PPG good stuff it would easiliy double that price. I am just building a crusier not a show truck. It stays in the garage and I probably won't drive it in the rain and if I do take it to a car show I will put an EZ UP over it. Who knows.
Keep it up Joe. GIT ER DUNE... :

cool, thanks for the info John.....I shall do my best!!

Have I mentioned how much I love this site:metal:
fire wall clearance was an issue getting it dropped in to the block, I had to jack up the rear of the trans to get the clearance, after I got it in there clearance wasn't an issue  I used '80 Corvette wires..fit great after a several moments of dumbass;)....no the other clockwise jackass:lol:
