Thanks guys :) Almost forgot to mention I still need to install the crossover. HR, I have yet to fire it. I have a few loose ends to wrap up before I can. Can't wait to hear it though.

As tight as that's in there, I think you'll have to pull the body off and disassemble the frame to get the exhaust out of there to paint ...... :D.

Looking good. I almost can't handle this piece by piece. I wanna see it done so bad. You definitely have a very unique truck.

Darn, I have to subscribe to another build.

Awsome work Frizzle, I can't wait to get my new shop this fall/winter so that I can start on ONE of my projects.

Thanks man! It's unreal to get mag coverage on a project that really started as a spur-of-the-moment whim. Josh did a good job of consolidating 30+ pages down into a magazine sized article. In fact, I just noticed that it is now online:
Here's the link to their main page.

And the article.

Re: Joined the Short Wheelbase Club *69 Tahoe Project*

holy cow man. that's really cool. always neat to see someone from the forums make it to a mag, but then to have it be a project build, even better.

with this kind of coverage, I bet you'll get a good number of calls from guys looking for you to "tahoe-itize" their subs. :)

That exhausts is terrific, man, all I can say is that you pretty much won't be able to fit anything else under there, starting to look pretty tight.
