lol no secrets here , just no time , it will be at least until end of summer before i get to work on it again , anyways , yes i got all the parts back from machine shop , the block was bored over 20 and the crank and cam bearings standard as they were in good shape , as for the heads , well !!!! we did a little work on them

Glad to see that the internals were good on that engine. It ran good on my end, you just never know what lurks on the inside.

Hey Raul. Let me know when the assembly process is going to start on the motor. I Would love to be there watch the process as well as help with anything.

Hey Raul, the speaker pods that in the cab corners. Are those a weld in or bolt in type thing. Getting ready to do my stereo system in my Chevy and like those.

lol, just some street porting ,some valve work with one piece ss bigger valves
comp springs ect ,

yes they are bolt on , if you go back to page 30 post # 739 i posted the link of the vendor , click on it and you will find all the info along with some pictures , take care

Those speaker brackets are heavy duty too. love the set i got.

Wow! I am about 85% certain that I am going to TT my '71, but honestly scared to do it. I have never built anything forced induction. I think it will be fun though.

it is a lot of fun once your are done and have it tune right , but not an easy road to go down to unless you like to build and have patience to deal with all the changes and mods you have to do , and do lots and lots of reaserch before you start building or you will end up doing things over and over

small update !!! since im not working on the truck in the summer , i figure it will be a good time to tackle the tranny , lucky for me i have tech who build gm trannys for 20+ years here in our shop , the tranny was working fine but it need it some high end parts to be able to handle a little more horse power !!!!

i want to share with you guys the new member of our c10 family just a few miles from my house , its a 67 small window farm truck with lots of character , his user name is Chvy2NV , ill post his build thread once he starts it ,here a pix of the truck
