They bolt in with the 3 bolts under each side of the core support in front and 3 bolts in top of the fender. There is another mounting point designed to bolt to the front cab floor support brace that runs partially up the firewall.

Can you highlight the "3x top of the fender" mounting points in a pic for reference?

I can take a picture tonight, the front of the tub by the core support on the hood edge has 2 mounting points and the rear right by the firewall they are the factory mounting holes. The flash on the camera kind of makes them disappear

Ok... I get a clearer image now. I knew of the bolts along the inner-to-outer fenders. So basically the 3 middle bolts are no longer there (trimmed away for clearance) but the fore/aft bolts are still utilized.

Yes sir, you got it. There is a flange underneath where you could attach more bolts where the 3 were, it just gives it a cleaner look without them

On the rear of the tubz, where they're skirted, how much clearance is there between the tubz and the firewall? do they run flush together or is there some room? I'm asking because I'm wanting to modify the firewall at the bottom to gain more footroom for the pedals I want to run

they are tight right at the bend but you have some room from there down, the nice thing about glass is that they are easy to modify (you could remove the skirt completely if it is in the way)

When are you going to begin taking orders for the tubz and the filler panels and do you have an idea of the introductory price yet on each?

you done some realy good fabrication and you made some nice choices on the wheels

i never liked the way the headlights sit in the nose on this model truck though
if i was the designer i prolly wouldve placed them higher like in the hood of the truck with the indicator lights under them in the grille
would make the griller narrower too basicly plate where the headlights sit close

think they changed it this way because my way would make it look a lot more like the 57 truck

I can afford to modify the expensive stuff like , grills and bumpers because of the insane expensive of the plating process . That being said I try to make everything look as custom as possible and still use all the factory partsl

Re: Slosh Tubz SEMA 2015 Build "BOOSTED BERTHA"

think the plating is as expensive because the companies doing it need to pay big premiums on the chemical disposal more than the plating itself
you might be better of in mexico

I decided it was getting a little cramped in the engine compartment so I raised and widened the core support opening so I could suck that huge Flex-a-Lite radiator in real nice and tight ! It wont be left all boxy looking she will get some sexy curves before I am done !

might be able to add an intake bell intoo the sheetmetal on one side of the radiator support on one side for cool air to the compressor
