If you look closely at the floor, there's a silver handle for the custom shifter. It's pretty cool, stays out of the way and works great! The guy that built the truck knew what he was doing for sure. I said the same thing when we first started talking about the sale.

There ya go, great find!
I finally got some new raised springs and the set of wheels/tires I had mounted. I'll show it through it's changes since I bought in '01 A stop I made on my way home with it from out west: Attachment 1480234 I put the 9.75s on right away: Attachment 1480235 Hard times forced sale of truck and I wanted the steelies for my '72 K/20 Highlander, so I swapped to the 8.25 turbines. The Highlander was attracting all the attention, so I hung onto the GMC and sold Highlander to friend: Attachment 1480236 Those 33/12.50s started checking, so I swapped what had come on the Highlander when I bought it (235/75s): Attachment 1480237 Finally, I mount the 9.75 slots with 35/12.50s: Attachment 1480238 Yeah, I know, needs rockers. Time to focus on those before rust spreads. I keep a close eye on that |

Hey everyone I just wanted to show you guys my 1970 k/20. It has a 350 engine with a turbo 400 trans. I upgraded the engine a little bit. I put on an aluminum intake with a Holley 600cfm double pumper carb. I want to put a 4 speed in it for towing purposes. It already has the clutch pedal assembly in it because it used to have a four speed until the previous owner swapped to an automatic. I also added more leaf springs for towing as well. It will defiantly get painted once the bugs are worked out. Thanks guys and I hope you guys enjoy!

It defiantly has some stance in the back with the added leaf springs. My dad said it looks like a pulling truck!

Here is an interior pic. You might be able to see a clutch pedal if you zoom in. I'm on the hunt for a new seat. I also added the gauges and the tach.

Last pic I promise! 😅 here is a pic of the engine bay. I didn't have the air cleaner on at the time because I needed a spacer but. I have it on now just don't have a current picture. Sorry for all the individual pics but hope you guys enjoy and feel free for any comments or questions.

Wasted Income, that is a very nice truck!

Re: post your 67-72 4x4
Thanks guys. It's been a part of the family for a couple decades now. I even took my wife to prom in it...I'd rather rebuild it 5 more times as my tastes change, than ever get rid of it.

Re: post your 67-72 4x4
Thanks guys truck has rust on lower door and rockers, little around the windshield. Going off what the original owner told me I'm the 2nd is it has a built 327 auto 4x4 6" lift and 38's. It's been sitting for 9 months so my plans are to send motor off to get checked, rebuild tranny and transfer fix the rust and run some 35's. Hopefully I can slowly tear it down and start a ground up build.
