what did you use to attach the chains to the bed to lift it, is the wood and cross sill attached?

Glenwood green from the factory and was resprayed at some other point just a hair lighter. Will be blue after this weekend. I can dig up the original paint code and chips tomorrow.

Red head steering box arrived today. I have nothing but good to say about Red Head Steering and their customer service and the quality of the part I purchased. Should be able to install this weekend, which is great. Now I can reinstall the steering column and steering wheel!!!!
One of these days I'll take the time to learn to rebuild one of these boxes, but for now....$241 well spent and with a warranty. And rcvd part within a few days of payment. Note: They also will rebuild your box and use custom colors. I was fine with black and the red top which is their trademark colors. |

Finally got through all the prep and masked off. Got 2 coats of primer down. Did some final sanding and a little glaze over some areas that popped with primer down. Color and clear tomorrow
