I've been trying to tag down if the GMC's are 1/2 ton = 1500 rather than C10, and if the 3/4 ton is 2500 rather than C20. |

Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds
Found these two on Craigslist. Both look fairly clean and vary tempting.

Maybe I could convince my dad this is what we need for the hunting camp during turkey and deer season. That way we would still be able to pull the ATV and have a cozy place to stay |

Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds
It seems like a vary small price to pay when trying to sell a vehicle. I hope it helps keep the auction houses away that pretend like they are selling the vehicle in your area for prices that seem reasonable until you realize that they are just going to go up once people start bidding.

Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds
This has bothered me sometime now. What the heck is with their craigslist for sale posting of one dollar? If they're doing it to get more hits, they're idiots.
You want $10,000? What is their thinking? If I search for anything less than $5000, do they really think I'm going to say: Hey! here is one for 1 dollar! Hello out there. I flag your listing, idiot. |
Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds

O.K. not Craigs List, but found this in a Mag that caters to mostly high end sports car collectors.
A 1/2 ton Camper Special with a 348 and 3 on the tree ??? They say it's "rare". Sounds like an understatement. I'll say one thing, they sure are proud of it. What's the opinion out there? |

installed in a light truck either. Hmmm. |
Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds
I never heard of a 348 in a pick up either. I think he's blowing smoke ..... :smoke:
|
Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds
Is this the same one? Says 348 in description, but has "409" stickers on valve cover... https://www.dupontregistry.com/autos...et/c10/2519357

Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds
Nice looking rig, for sure!
|
Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds
Just because it is rare doesn't mean it is valuable. At least not that valuable.;)
|
Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds
If I had $110k to throw at a truck, I'd buy 11 $10k trucks.
