Another I haven't seen before... not a fan of the wheels or the console but those are easily swapped.

I agree on the wheels and the console, but overall it looks pretty decent. The wheels wouldn't be too bad if they were a bit smaller and the rears had some lip to them.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread

That green one looks like it has a really rare underdash A/C in it that was made by GM specifically for the 67-72 GM trucks. If it is in fact the one I think it is, the knobs on it even match the dash knobs. I've only read about those and haven't ever seen a real picture of one until now.

This one doesn't look bad, but I'm pretty picky.

1) Why are there two different blues for body and top...
2) Why the CST trim on the body when you don't do it on the tail lights or tailgate, etc.
3) Why in the world would you put that late model burb/van interior in it...

....and furthermore, if it's a true, super rare, orig 2wd 70, why put a 71/72 clip on it? Whole thing seems a little fishy to me.
Hey Nick - put new shocks/coils all around and lower control arms on the '71. Rides and drives great now! Front and rear are now both 5 inch drop but what I can't figure out is how the left side is a little lower front and back.

I noticed that too. But thought somebody out there would like it.

I bet it does. I just put new shocks on my stepside and it made world of difference.
Did you put it up in the air and look at the body bushings? Not sure what else it would be.
I just sold my Billet Wheels off my stepper so it's off the street until I decide on what I want to throw on there next....
Any luck finding a locking mech for the rear hatch or you just cruise with the top off all the time?

I thought you had already sold it, the red one right?

I don't have the red one anymore. I have a medium olive 71:-).

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread

The owner emailed me some pics. I will see if I can get them loaded today. Not a terrible looking one, but In my opinion, the shape does not warrant $8500. So my search continues :/

Most of the bushings don't look too bad, that'll be a later project when I get some space to work. Haven't really looked for the locking mechanism, only has the top on for winter storage. It stays topless all summer.

It's amazing what some of these are bringing.

There are some very good deals being linked.

Almost sold mine at CTC last year, but wasn't
enough $. Cash offers are hard to turn away,
but Wife was sitting right there and said NO.
