Was in the shop for a couple hours today and got some work done.

Pic 1 & 2 Have the freshly painted parts covered to avoid overspray.

Pic 3 Fender back on horse.

Pic 4 Inner panel mounted.

Pic 5 Can't see any difference, but it has been wet sanded with 600 paper and ready for paint.

Hope to show more tomorrow...Jim

Jim, is that a one piece hood or did you do something to the original two piece?

I like the solid look and have been thinking about what to do. Thanks.

It was a stock 2 piece hood, that I welded together, you just need to take time welding and move around, to keep from warping the metal...Jim

Hi Jim,

I love your truck! I had binge-read the whole build some time back and filed it away in my "completed builds" folder. Imagine my shock at tuning in and finding it with a fender in primer a few days back. Anyway, I binged it again and got caught up.

I loved seeing you post where you were able to take your wife out for a ride, that is so awesome.

Keep up the great work sir!

- Richard

Richard, thank you so much for taking the time to look at my "never ending story". I appreciate the kindness about the wife, hope to get her out again soon...Jim

A little update on work. On Friday, Mark removed all the old plastic. Then on Saturday the two of us vaccumed the light fixtures, rail, etc., to removing as much dirt as we could. We installed new plastic on the south and west walls. (didn't take pics till Sunday).
