been getting a little work done this weekend.. ive got my dash trim/extention piece mocked up. still some more work to do and then start polishing it..

here is how it starts
https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5477/...765bbbb7_b.jpg

https://farm3.staticflickr.com/2806/...4304f626_o.jpg

https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5535/...7a061187_b.jpg

didnt take any pics of the bending procress but i just used a piece of pipe i had laying around to make the curve. it was a workout to bend it by hand
https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5521/...0d5786a2_b.jpg

here is a mockup. i ran out of the stainless pieces because i ended up going with a smaller gap in between them then i originally planed. im going to cover up the switch box with the stainless strips to so it will look like 1 piece

what you guys think?

Maybe I'll try when I grow up someday. Seriously, I wish I had the resources or a place to try, but that's not an option right now. My wife and I are setting a goal to "settle" in somewhere next year & hopefully have a house. I'm pretty creative as well, so the potential could possibly be there. In the meantime, I'll just keep admiring fellas like yourself. :chevy:

As many times as I've looked over your build… Somehow I missed the Coulter touch on the Hood Latch...:dohh:
Now I've got to go back and look for more of those awesome details that elevate your build... :c2:
