Re: Project Slo-Go 67
Heath....I basically used painters blue tape in the area we drilled the hole through the inner fender...seen it done several times....actually just looked again....i went from the tranny bolt to the throttle petal bolt that goes thru the firewall.....(still have the 68 throttle pedal and throttle rod no a throttle cable)

Re: Project Slo-Go 67
Good deal. I knew the part number, but I haven't seen the actual part yet. Does it "work" with your engine bay theme? Or does it stick out like a sore thumb? By that I mean it's not the first thing you see when you raise the hood is it?

hmmm... well you can tell its there , as it has to go above the alternator... I have heard ppl using the stock v8 hose, and that working good with the serp setup but i went this route. I may check into the stock setup, since your saying its a eyesore!  |
Re: Project Slo-Go 67
Come on now, I didn't say it was an eyesore.:lol: Just wondering how well it fit in with the clean appearance of your engine.

Re: Project Slo-Go 67

Re: Project Slo-Go 67
we have her running a little better now. put seafoam in the oil, and will run her a little longer to clean her up a bit before changing the oil and running mobil 1 synthetic 15w - 50. trying to finish up the dash wiring so i can install the gauge cluster. then we can move on to installing the brake booster etc.
