Nice enough truck, but I hate these kind of people. I mean,I have nothing against someone who is emotionally attached to their truck, it happens to me with most of my trucks. But if you love it so much, then don't try to sell it because it's never going to worth as much to someone else as what you think it's worth, when you are so unrealistic as to be laughable. I would put that truck at $5000 for my area, maybe as much as $8000 if you fell in love with it and had to have it. I think it's 2wd, which is a serious killer for truck value in this part of the country. Many people (like myself) won't even look at a 2wd.
It looks to have a million holes in the body for an old style tonneau cover, in addition to the door holes from those ugly towing mirrors. That truck did not cost $18,000 new I bet, so how did he arrive at that figure when it's 24 years old, not especially ultra low mileage or original condition? It's been restored once and the second time around never lasts as long as the first, custom jobs notwithstanding.
It makes me want to call the guy and ask him if he's on crack, but people like him are always convinced they know it all and there s*** is worth more than gold.

I dont know what it is that he is smokin, but that truck isnt worth ten grand less than what he is asking, it has a mid 80's 454 that would have had 2 smog pumps on it, they were boat anchors, and it has a Turbo 400, wich at todays gas prices, is good for nothing if you arent installing it in a drag car.

Now if the truck had aluminum wheels, air ride, and it had a Vortec 454 with a 4L80E or a NV4500, and the interior was done nice with a nice stereo, I could see it demanding that kind of money, or perhaps a bit more. But not being a total stocker.

This is why it's $18,000 "am/fm cassette ( I know antique huh )"

Why would you take pics of the truck sitting a mud puddle? Does that make it more valuable? LOLOLOLOLOL

Thanks.... I'm going to keep them, especially cuz the rear power seat folds down to a bed. I'm just going to have new leather put on and re-do all wood, replace the carpet and wrap the door pannels in black leather.

heres my dads. Its a 1989 chevy crew cab 1 ton. a 1995 12 valve cummins was put in 10 years ago. Hopefully we will rebuild truck it soon. This has been a hard worked truck, from driving through ruff terain to logging sites to snow plowing. And the rust just adds character.

My new 85 gmc crewcab longbox with a chevy tailgate.

Have an option of taking a larger steel stepup rear bumper with some surface rust on it. Would have to remove the rust and then paint it or have it powder coated. What would you do? Keep the chrome with the black stripe or switch to a stepup. If switch, would you paint or powder coat?

Lots of Canuck trucks lately ..... neat.

I like the single wheel crew Winks2 ... leave the chrome bumper remove the rubber strip.

On the truck below, is the thing behind the cab for storage that can be reached through the cab rear window?
