No real updates. All my motor stuff is still out. We are two months in on rods and pistons. It's PRI Show week so all the performance folks shut down to go there. I'll be lucky if the rods and pistons show up before the end of the year. My new lifters came in though. we went with BAM lifters. They are DLC coated axle no bushing or bearing. My rear end is sitting in the floor. I need to put it back in but that's no big deal. I just hope I don't get hung out till the last minute. Our first race is the last weekend of February.

Well the rear is back in. Ken came out yesterday and helped me bleed the brakes. The money I wasted on this gear experiment would have more than paid for new slicks that I need. |

I guess the light was shining just right though the window. Ken noticed this wave inside the bed. I guess it may be a good thing the tailgate is bolted on. It may have saved other parts of the bed when the frame broke. |

I wondered if the bed suffered any stress from the frame rail issue & that sure suggests it did. Doesn't look too bad though so there's that....

Well I went and got my heads yesterday. We got pistons last week so the block is finished for the pistons. Still no rods as of Friday. Damn!
