The pickups were available with a 402cid. Big block. These engines are referred to as Big Block 400's. This is even illustrated on the fender badges on the trucks. So it sounds to me like the "owner" knows what he is talking about. That being said, the Blazers were never available with a big block from the factory.

Yeah, it's become common to leave the last three zeros off the price. I don't know if it is meant to avoid the scammers or what. Nice Blazer and I had the coin I'd be headed to Cali to look it over.

Well I had found one 72 Factory 2wd Blazer. It was rough and without a hard top. The body was about 7 out of 10 but no rush. I offered him 14K cash. He turned me down and sold it to someone else for 14500. To be so close but yet not close enough!

Yep, THE Maryjane Blazer will go across the auction block at Barrett Jackson. This one is off the charts cool! What do you all think it will go for? Conservatively there is at least $100k in parts and labor there, but will it bring that much?

I honestly don't know. I can tell you a very popular patina'd '68 truck just sold I know the asking price was $55k but I don't know if that's what it went for. In my opinion a roadster style Blazer with this level of detail is going to appeal to a small sect of enthusiasts who can afford it. It may beat the $55k mark of the patina’d truck but I don’t think it will make $100k. It also relies heavily on the auction, what time goes across the block, is it during prime TV time etc.

edit** I should add that I hope he gets his target price because it is likely the new standard for roadster style Blazers, he deserves to be paid for his outstanding effort.
