Lookin good! I really like the inner fish plates, should be much stronger than cut n butt alone. The Murocs look good to me :metal:... Gold plated of course:lol:

and the start of some boxing plates , all the front frame horns will be boxed and smoothed, the boxing plates will come back far enough to tie the front end nicely to the rear rails

a huge pain....still working on that a little actually , it is basically just mocked up at the moment ! If i was doing it over i would build my own square tube frame table !

Just one question,...
Your original plan was to cut off the bottom part of the frame.
Aren't these new rails in the exact location as the bottom of the old rails?
I guess you will be lowering the body mounts now?

i said " correct" but that isnt what i meant , no these rails arent in the same place , hence the raising or Zing of the front horns, but yes the body mounts will have to be moved also ! This body style K5 frame is a nightmare ! This has been quite a learning experience for me and i am sure i will learn alot more before i get it done !

LOL.....i dont even know, this frame is so stinking confusing i can even talk logically about it !

Nice work Mike! I know you've spent quite a bit of time blending the front rails to the custom rear, but do I get to start chanting, "Custom front rails, custom front rails"??? :lol::lol::lol:

LOL...lets just say i know when i am in over my head and the compound angles on the front rails were too much for me ! they narrow and widen on each side of the crossmember, it is crazy !
