What do a set of those uppers and lowers run? And how do I get my hands on some?

Haha, raull I think our minds are somehow connected. When I get done with the '71 or at least nearly done I am wanting to do a static drop, "SS" clone to my '00 Silverado Reg Cab/Short bed that already has a 6.0 in it.

I love the looks of that kit and Justin is a great guy to deal with. I ordered a bunch of my stuff from him. I am just happy that the weather is cooling off here and I can work in the garage without sweeting every drop of water out of me, dang humidity.

lol , very much alike c/10s you and i for sure , its cooling down here in sf but the fregging rain will just not !!!! stop !!!! as for the ss clone , my kids are older now and i wanted a single cab but the extra cab was practically pass down to me by my father in law which he got new in 2003 so we are keeping it in the family , its an ls model with the 5.3 and a limited slip rear end with 373 gears so its a good start ,

Man, the truck is SS clone is look great. I may have to steal you idea for the dash. That loks real nice in there. I probably won't go as far as badging mine just update the front end with the SS package. Where do you get your parts for it from? That is my only set back right now, finding good inner/outer fenders, core support, hood, grill and bumper that doesn't cost me a fortune.

you could make your 2000 look awesome without having to convert the whole front end , go to this site and look at the front ss bumper for your truck

Re: 1971 c10 stepside

I was thinking about that. I like the idea of giving the front end a "facelift" but the money involved is a lot. I was thinking satin black w/ white racing stripes would look good.

thanks for the comp's , as for camaro not sour at all , actually i did not sell it , i have to much $$ and most of all a lot of personal time in it to give it away in this buying market we are in , so ive decided to keep it , next , a custom stainless steel gas tank from rick's tank to hold more fuel for my great 4 to 5 mpg . lol !! and im doing a t56 6 speed convertion for some shifting fun

Glad to see you didn't sell it. I really love that car, can't wait to see some updates on it. The 6 speed is going to be sick in it :metal:

True story I wish I would of taken a Picts of Raul's face classic. I am sure that the camaro would of gotten really close to 700hp to the wheel.....if he would of allowed a bit more tuning....

WOW. Does it hook up pretty good or just blow the tires off? With that much power Im guessing you have to be careful coming out of the hole. 3 rd gear has to be brutal though :metal:
