Man the barn looks good. Now that it is warming up a little I need to get over to visit. I am a little frustrated with mine. I have had control arms on back order for a month. I need them so I can go back to work on the cab.

Thanks Eric. You know you and the boys are welcome anytime. Did you get the engine mounts figured out from POL?

Cool. Be sure to stop over Saturday if you want. Have 3-4 62-63 c-10 owners that'll be on property.

Nice TJ. Glad to see your making progress. I'm back on the stepside this Saturday. Will put the barn build off a week and give my body a break since I'm doing every phase of the build and mostly solo. Saw you picked up another rig too!!!

Few pics of the updated barn build or my "truck barn" as the wife calls it. Back on the short stepper Saturday. Looking forward to swapping the hammer for some wrenches....

Started work on the last and final stall. Will be just around 500 sq feet. Built in work benches in the back corner that will give me 40sq feet of bench space on concreted in telephone poles. Should be stout.

Your welcome up anytime. I'm outside most days until around 8pm when I lose light. Majority of my current time is on the barn lately, but I'm trying to reserve my weekends to truck work again starting this weekend.

This is where I left off in October, so I am looking forward to some good truck work time this weekend. Won't take much to have her on the road. I have the remaining parts, so just have to put the time in.

A lot of much needed work done this weekend. Got the engine pulled and reinstalled for the last time. CPP mounts removed and will end up on the classifieds as I have no use for them. I'll use the same POL mounts for the 348 in the fleetside. Had to grind additional clearance for the 2nd time. This time for the POL mounts and more on the frame since we're now at 1 7/8" primary tubes. Mounts fit great and plenty of clearance on the mounts for the headers.

Also got the CPP trans tailshaft mount installed. Steering column is complete and floor shifter is in.

And one very happy owner, glad to have these projects completed.

Hydraulic clutch is also now complete. So just need to fill it up and bleed it. Will also work on the new ss brake lines this week.

And thanks to Austin for the extra hands this weekend.

Next project will be running the exhaust which is sitting in the parts rrom and then start mocking the front sheet metal so I can paint it.

Thanks....and yes, it is dusty. Plan to spend some time touching up and cleaning everything this week while still making some headway.

Thanks Eric. Let me know if you need some help on the install. Yeah, you missed all the fun this weekend, but I got a lot done.

Thanks a bunch. Been away for a few months, but getting back at it hard again now. I'm ready to have her back on the road and then complete the fleetside.

I take a lot of pics as there are just a handful of big block swaps and even fewer running hydraulic clutches on a manual trans. I hope that the pics help someone else who will encounter the same issues and save them time.

TJ the kit is Thrush #WLK-89027 ordered from summit. Was around $250 shipped
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/wlk-89027/overview/

Advertised as a 2.5" bolt in kit for 66-72 chevy/gmc truck sb/bb applications auto or manual. Came with all the hardware, hangers and mufflers too. We'll know how it goes tonight.

I opted for band clamps from summit for the header reducer to head pipe though.

Started to mock up the exhaust last night and ran out of light. Have some more tweeking to do on the fitment but so far it hasn't been to bad. A 2nd set of hands would help greatly, but some jack stands and properly placed 4x4s seems to be working for now. Will get some pics tonight.

Ran late from work, but got a little more work in on the exhaust. Will try and get out there this weekend and button it up. I need to put the rear bumper on for final bolt down so I can get the exhaust hanging where I want out the rear fenders....
I found that 2 ft zip ties work great for holding the system up and in place plus you don't have to work around jack stands.

Couple pics of the undercarriage. Still need to complete from the x pipe to the header reducers. I have the pipes just sitting on the reducers to keep crap out of them. The system will raise up level.

So far I like the placement in the bottom left pic of the post above best for exhaust pipe exit.

They did a nice job on this kit. Plenty of clearance around rearend and trailing arms. Takes a lot of small tweaking but I'm satisfied with the kit and the ease of a home install with no lift. The only cutting required is the pipe of the header reducer to the x pipe. Simple enough. I got a metal cutting disk for my circular saw and did some test cuts yesterday and got very nice results.
