I was wondering how the call quality is.

Re: 1969 SuperBurb build-up (Bagged and Blown!)

I haven't used the hands free calling feature. I never even hooked the mic up. With the road noise and exhaust it would probably be difficult to get a good quality phone call in my ol beater.

I finally have my AC lines and inside unit reinstalled on the Burb. AND I also added a 2 Ton AC unit to cool my shop! This should make finishing this project up little more bearable, :metal:.

Thanks guys! It's been nice to work on the burb when it's not 95 degrees and 100% humidity! I should have done this a long time ago, :lol. I also have a guy scheduled to finish the sheetrock the first part of October, which will help also.

Back to the Burb.....Still waiting on my gauges, but I'm knocking small things off of my punch list, wiring and other miscellaneous stuff. The goal is to have everything done that I can so that when the gauges arrive I can wire them up and start it.....we'll see..... Here's some pictures of the AC control panel and the RetroSound stereo installed.

Very nice! I'm sorry, to ask, because it's probably in the thread, but is that a/c control a vintage air product?

The burb is looking good. Looks like you can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel. I want your shop!!!

I'm sure you can, it's pretty small and fairly easy to install.

Thanks! I've been wrapping up a lot of small details prepping for a light off as soon as my gauges come in. If things go as planned that could be as early as next week, :metal:!

All AC/heat lines crimped and installed. Not the "neatest" way to do them, but they should work. Will pull a vacuum on the complete system tonight and hopefully no leaks.... One more thing crossed off of the list, :metal:!

Thanks! I bought a crimping tool from McMasters and did all of the crimping myself.

That looks pretty good Rob. I did something similar on my 71. Going to keep it like that when I do the LS swap too. It's not as fancy as the all hidden stuff, but I like the way it looks.

Sorry for the late reply, just got back from vacation. As far as I know there is no difference between the Vintage Air kits, they just list C10. Check out this thread on the crimper:

Take care,

Thanks Keith! There are some many color options to choose from, it's been hard for me to decide what I like better,.

I'm about done wiring up the cruise control. What a pain in the butt to have to use 2 relays to make the Dakota Digital switch (HND-3) work with the DBW setup, :(.

(write up by here ACKATTACK: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...se+control+db2)

On a more positive note, I talked to my contact at Dakota Digital about the problem using the switch, so look for a new switch in the future that you won't have to add relays to in order for it to work properly, :metal:.

I also got most of the plumbing done on the shop. Getting closer to sheetrock time!!!!
