Just glad it got there in one piece and that you were able to use it Don!
Looks great after being cleaned up!! And yeah.....not uncommon for me to save old painting paper for shipping. I think I found an original Harrison core (used) that will fit that heater also. I'll get some pics and run the numbers on it......... |

The wheel Merry-Go-Round continues...:uhmk:
I was originally going to run some 15's that a friend gave up cheap, then traded for some 20's after realizing that the U-Bolts on the rear would hit before the rim in the event of a flat...:sumo: Not wanting to chance that, the 20's were an even trade, although I wasn't a fan of that style wheel, the no out-of-pocket aspect was alluring…;) When the boy showed up Father's Day with a friend of his, that has an 85 square body, the friend offered to buy the 20's... After a day or 2 of thought, I shot him a price and the immediate response was, "SOLD" :bann: I've always liked the old school Cragar SS wheels and needing at least a 17" wheel to deal with the lowering in the rear, I decided to go with the Torque Thrust by American Racing… Going with the 18" Anthracite...:bann: |
Re: Donz '65 SWB Stepper Budget Build...
Nice!

Re: Donz '65 SWB Stepper Budget Build...
Sounds like that wheel deal was a no-brainer. I like the new wheel choice much better, & I'm sure you will too. Hard to beat a timeless 5-spoke!:metal:

Re: Donz '65 SWB Stepper Budget Build...
I like those wheels. Good choice.
