Welcome! I was excited when I came across the brochures. We're planning to frame a couple of them, so I wanted to make sure I documented the pages/pics beforehand.

Visited a store in my town this weekend that sells local honey, meats, & various southern foods. I got a brochure with their pricing & found this 4/5/6 (?) stepside in their vintage pics on the back page.

My first '60 Apache...... About 1986, when I was in college. Next to it was my '53 Ford flatbed ranch truck, but I figured that my set off the Ford haters..... :)

Do you still have the 1960 Apache?

Nope. Had to sell it about 5 years after that pic was taken. Life got in the way of trucks...... BUT, eventually, what goes around, comes around.

Here's the rest of the story:

I love the old production line photos- of just about any vehicle. But the GMC truck one is particularly cool.

Never knew that they made gmc trucks with grills that were body color and black bumpers.

Black bumper bolts as well!

It also has mis-matched tires front-to-rear. Another special Canadian thing?

What about the single-hole hood opening in the front and dark turn signal bezels?

That picture looks like it was taken when the plant was brand new. The line to the left is empty. Almost no clutter near the line. The floor looks very clean but dusty, like whitish concrete dust. And the employees are smiling.
