Visited a store in my town this weekend that sells local honey, meats, & various southern foods. I got a brochure with their pricing & found this 4/5/6 (?) stepside in their vintage pics on the back page.

My first '60 Apache...... About 1986, when I was in college. Next to it was my '53 Ford flatbed ranch truck, but I figured that my set off the Ford haters..... :)

I love the old production line photos- of just about any vehicle. But the GMC truck one is particularly cool.

That picture looks like it was taken when the plant was brand new. The line to the left is empty. Almost no clutter near the line. The floor looks very clean but dusty, like whitish concrete dust. And the employees are smiling. |
