Hey alan there is a company that makes one piece window kits for 4-5-6 truck called vintage glass out of lawrencville GA. Just FYI. I checked on them for mine and with felts, seals and custom cut windows was like 500. BTW nice kitchen man!

1 ea. PN 632610 6' Powerflex hose 31.99
4 ea. PN 620421 Russell Endura -6 90 degree hose end 13.99 ea.
1 ea. PN 648050 Russell -6 to 11/16"-18 gearbox press fitting 11.99 ea.

1 ea. PN 6 XHBU-S Parker 3/8"-6 straight compression fitting 12.98 ea.

dunno if it would make a difference in the way you did yours, but did you know you can unscrew the metric fitting out of the pump and replace it with a SAE one?

It may be a little late for this, but did you know all it takes to convert the pump over is to change the fitting on the back of the pump..

I officially don't know what it is called, but when I am using a 94 serpentine setup for my 70, and all I had to do was unscrew the large bolt fitting (my yellowish arrow point to it) from the new style pump, and screw in the one from the old style that my 72 pump had. I was able to use the original 70-72 hoses then on mine. If I ever decide to go with the later model box with a quicker ration, then I can swap the plug back and use the later style lines. Sorry I didn't think about it earlier when you were starting on yours. My head has been stuck in computer/network issues at work lately.

I talked with the guys at Vintage glass while I was at super chevy and to get all of the glass for the cab with vent windows was $475 for tinted. I talked to a glass guy that does our cars at work and he wanted $800, yeah right. I'm going to call another glass guy I know, he usually treats me right. BTW thanks!

when i did my 58 i paid 50 per glass to have them cut.. I think an extra 5 a hole to be drilled. if I wanted non laminated they would cut drill then send out to temper

Thanks, I'm not perfect by no means.;) On the PS hoses Bill and Joe had some great info too share about the fitting in the metric pump will unscrew then you could use a standard fitting.

Nice score Allan. I want to paint it, but get it sandblasted first. I plan on painting the top half of the truck Corvette Torch Red, and the bottom half black separated by a silver stripping. I was thinking of silver for the grill. What do you think?

Allan you might want to check this out if you don't like the price of granite. With your skills I'm sure you could do it yourself.www.buddyrhodes.com/ The pressed finish looks kind like granite. Black with white grout would look cool.

Alan, I did a concrete counter in my old house. It was my first time and I picked the hardest possible way to do it (in place). It came out pretty good, and everyone that came by loved it. I think it cost under a couple hundred bucks to do. The worst was grinding it in the kitchen. That dust went everywhere. Next time I will build a mold and do it outside.

The form is the way to go. I did my bath room. It was my first time too. I did the loose fill but if I did it again I would'nt pack it so tight, leave more voids it would have looked better. For the price $100 compaired to $600 for granite I was happy. I would do it again. :metal: Ya I hear ya on the mess part. I did mine in my garage next to my truck. It still has the spatter on it. It won't come off. My thinking is it will help hold the rust together.

I think that would be a good color scheme.

That really sucks. Hopefully nothing else was damaged. Mine gets really hot. This past week while I was running it so much, I put a fan blowing on it to circulate some air. It sits back in the corner.

Since you put it that way, I guess I don't have a choice.;) I need some inspiration myself. After going to the show yesterday it lit a little fire. These body guys showing off their stuff and I have nothing to show. What sucks is it's taking time away from my family. What should I do. Follow my dreams or be a better dad and husband? I know it's a deep subject.
