Here are a few more, I really like the 1959 GMC snorkel from Bedford Park. It was in the process of being restored, but it was going to take double what they originally thought it would cost to fix it. Not sure what has been done with it, couldn't find out anything.

That's a mighty cool rig. I hope it gets done.
Here is a group of GMCs: |
Re: Emergency Vehicles!!!
Sharp looking rigs! I found out Bedford Park gave up on the restoration and donated the truck so Smeal Fire Apparatus in Nebraska, they'll be restoring and displaying it at fire truck conventions.

Re: Emergency Vehicles!!!
That's too bad they had to let it go, but it will be restored and their name will remin, as it should.

Re: Emergency Vehicles!!!
Glad to see the Bedford truck didn't get scrapped and will remain a part of history.

This '76 C65 with only 19,000 miles is for sale by me. This thing is dirt cheap too, I wish I had the space for it.

A GMC 6500. This is the series with the heavy specs!
|
Re: Emergency Vehicles!!!
Great to see another 6500 out there. This one is either a '64 or '65 and we all know what is under the hood, the good 'ol 478. Most likely West Coast with the Budd Wheels. Cool 6500 only Chrome Front Bumper.
