hell ya that looks bad a$$! glad to see you updating your thread, one thing about making everything for your truck its personalized! looking at the picture of the motor with that tall breather and if you run it you'll have to cut the brace in the hood for it, anyways great looking truck and keep us updated

Yeah, I'm just slow about posting.....got some work done on the bed floor framework, made an adapter plate to mount the hydraboost on the firewall, and got my seats. I'll post some pics by the end of the weekend.....promise :)

Hey Mechanic77. Nice! Where did you get the parts and design for the watts link? Did you just buy parts or a kit? I have been going with a panhard but like the watts as well. Dilemma?

Thanks! I fabbed everything except the links themselves, they're teflon lined 5/8" rod ends and aluminum links from Speedwaymotors....the center pivot and frame mounting plate are made out of 1/2" plate that I had my buddy cut on a cnc plasma table and another friend machine the pivot to accept a couple of common sealed bearings.....if you need any close-up pics of the setup, let me know :)

Re: Project Pro Touring "Ole Blue"

Thanks for the info. Was planning a panhard but your watts is NICE. Dont have a friend to build the propeller though.

Thanks!....the hydraboost was an ebay score, I believe it's from an Astro van.....as far as the pedal goes, I'm going to use the stock pedal....with some mods of course ;)

A buddy of mine just showed me this build. While I don't know how I managed to overlook this thread before, I know that I want to see it all come together. Very cool work so far, and a lot of good ideas put to use. I'm in :)

Re: Project Pro Touring "Ole Blue"

Thanks guys, I'm anxious to get it done too ;)

Re: Project Pro Touring "Ole Blue"

boy that bed is really the perfect length. I wasnt a big believer when you told me about it but consider me converted.

and you guys calling andy an artist should see his bike, thoughtful and completely tasteful updates. most will just throw whatever is popular at their rides but these are real groundbreaking mods going on here.

Re: Project Pro Touring "Ole Blue"

Thanks joedoh! I just hope it turns out as well as it looks in my head :)
