Re: Project Family Hauler
Sweet! I wish it was mine!!
I need to ask tho and to qualify i am not any kind of construction builder... Houses like mine (built in about 74) have a vent on both ends of the roof peaks to let air into the attic, I don't see that in your garage so just wondering if there is some type of vent to allow air to enter, then vent out the roof vents to let the summer heat escape? |
Re: Project Family Hauler
Sweet garage build! Did you insulate it?

I have enough power in the garage to run my welder and a 220v air compressor, stereo, and plug in my trailer to a 30 amp plug. |

Ok, like i mentioned i don't know squat about that kinda stuff, I have noted some newer houses also omitted that vent so i was wondering whats up, guess that makes sense as heat rises.
I still want your garage! :o) |

Got the highs and lows of the chevy fleet. Painting the inside next weekend then I can move in all the cabinets and tools. Maybe I can work on the suburban this year. |
Re: Project Family Hauler
garage looks great and nice trucks!

Re: Project Family Hauler
Nice garage.

Re: Project Family Hauler
That garage looks sweet! It even looks better with your trucks in there! Nice job. What size rock did you put in fron of it? 1"?

Re: Project Family Hauler
There really needs to be more garage build threads... That seriously looks like alot of fun! Lot of work but lot of fun. I have always wondered, how does a person get the trusses up there? Also, did you build the walls on the ground and then raise them up? What do you figure you have into it now cost wise?
