Re: Project Patina Burb
My floor has 4 holes. I'm probably going to put a 3 point harness on one side, like the one I had on my blazer, for my youngest little girl. I'll put a normal 3 point shoulder belt on the other side for my 7 year old.
The third row will be factory. |
Re: Project Patina Burb
Here's the type of harness I plan on using for my little girl. I figured it would be better then having the shoulder harness stretched across that far over to buckle her in.

Re: Project Patina Burb
No, I sold it last October. We had another little girl, Lizzy, last August. Between my small business doing really bad and hospital bills started coming in, I sold it. I didn't miss it until April

Re: Project Patina Burb
Looking back at the original post in this thread, you can see the original second row seat that I gave away had the four brackets on the rear. I'll probably use one of them to bolt the 3 point harness to.

Here's my hatch that I picked up from the owner of SOKY Classics

Re: Project Patina Burb
Got alot of the wiring done on the air ride today. I'm running Slams in the front and the PO gave me these HUGE Goodyear bags that I'm using on the rear. I believe they came from a bus. I also am using the older style Ride Tech Digital Pressure sensor and 4 sensors that I got from smbrouss70.
I mounted the tank and the compressor. Also put the valves together with pressure sensors and mounted them in the best locations. Wired everything up, but I don't have a battery in it. I've had it on schrader valves for awhile now. I still have to wire up the switch box and put some 90 degree fittings on the rear, wire up the compressor with relay, and mount the water trap(I just ordered it). |
Re: Project Patina Burb
okay, finished up the wiring today on the air bags except for wiring up the switch box. I needed a few more connectors.
I had some help from my daughter, Halen, who loves to work on it with me. http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/m...b/25ef2ef5.jpg Dropped the drive shaft and got a measurement on how much to shorten it for it to fit the 4L60E. |

Anyways, cool build Im following along. |
Re: Project Patina Burb
Got most of the fuel line ran today. Still have to install the tank, but all the line has been ran to the rear of the burb.
|
Re: Project Patina Burb
Got the tank in and wired up. Got it off jack stands for the first time in a couple of months.
Still messing with the new wiring harness. It's an 21 circuit EZ Wiring harness and it's a bit overwhelming to say the least. Posted via Mobile Device |
Re: Project Patina Burb
Subscribed. Cant wait to see it on the Power Tour :metal:

Re: Project Patina Burb
Got a few things done today. I got my carpet kit in from Brother's this week also. I'm kind of collecting parts as of late.
Cleaned up some of the metal interior trip today with the bench grinder. I slapped the wire wheel attachment on it and cleaned most of the surface rust that was on them. |
Re: Project Patina Burb
I also saw another problem I'm going to have to deal with due to the PO shaving certain things.
I have a good hatch, but the push button has been shaved so I'm not sure how I'm going to get it open from the outside. |
Re: Project Patina Burb
Got any progress pics Bryan?

Re: Project Patina Burb
Here are a few Rus, still fighting with the wiring harness and need someone with a few welding skills. Here's a few shots I just took. You can see the button is shaved on the rear and what it looks like inside.
