Had some time to install the trailing arm crossmember while my little one was at preschool! Glad to be moving foward on this project, slow progress is still progress! Porterbuilt products are great, a couple little taps and it slid right in. And the bolt holes lined right up! There are 3 mounting location holes, I put mine in the 3rd holes pushing my rearend toward the tailgate. I'm hoping this will center the rearend in the wheelwells when the truck is on the ground!

How about the one that's designed for the trailing arm rear kit?

Only problem is that it's designed to go with my notch....

Are you going to be posting pictures of that complete setup soon? Does the bag mount behind the axle? How much is that gonna run?

Alittle progress! bolted my cab back on to see how it would be affected by the bodydrop. Had to make a little slice for the PB trailing arm crossmember to get the cab to rest on the mounts. The pinch weld on the bottom of the rockers now holds my frame a half inch off the ground! I removed my stock trailing arms, (PB arms to come!) and put my rearend on top of the frame rails. My 20 inch rims still touch the ground. But found out my Kp notch is only tall enough for that. I wanna run 22's or 24's so PB notch to come!

Did alittle work on my truck! Had the millwright at my work do alittle weldin for me on my new high hump cover. Also had him weld a 82 chevy truck pedal to my stock one so it now says disc brakes on it with the bigger pedal! Some progress is better than none right?Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics!

Re: $500 bucket

Well I installed the trailing arms, but i'm gonna have to get ahold of Nate cause I didn't get the spacer/shims that centers the trailing arms on the bolts? Also update I sold the 20's as well as my KP notch. Should be ordering my PB notch in the next couple of weeks!:metal:
