Update! Its for sale!!
HArd times and i need to go back to school. There has been work since, mainly the bed and tail gate and all paint and body work has been completed. it still needs to be buffed out as it went strait from the booth to home. but i was saving that for last since you usually burn off some clear on the first buff i figgured i would leave that as a shield from shop dust. http://austin.craigslist.org/cto/2216142734.html i have pics with the bed on somewhere just not handy at work. call if interested. 512-373-6919 all that is really left is the interior and i have many peices. including painted metal door pannels and new regulators and all gaskets seals and bumpers. glass and a fair ammount of installing all the goodies. be the first to show this bad boy... buy it!!! my education depends on it. |

or i will trade for a nice bay boat (that i can easily sell to my dad) or trade for a 4 door truck or tahoe/saburban (stock/stockish) so i can sell my daily and free up cash.

Re: Bagged, blown and painted 72/67-clip LWB progress pics
Saw this build thread and thought id chime in.
I actually bought this truck from josh a few years back. Since then completely disassembled the entire truck had everything underneath powder coated, frame, rear axle housing, control arms, tanks, etc.. I got it all wired up, interior is all finished. Drive shaft being customized right now, having the rear shaft changed from fixed shaft to splined yoke style for up and down movement. Other than fixing an air leak in the air ride system, finishing the exhaust, and getting a few things touched up and some panels realigned, it is, for the most part done and almost ready for the road. My only problem i need help solving is my steering. Was going to do what he was going to do and change crossmember but everything is on there and powder coated so was thinking of going with a bolt in rack setup. Has anyone used one of these setups with a channeled cross member with cupped control arms. If so how is your toe when rising a and lowering the ride height. And any pictures of yours installed. I will post pics of my progress on the build. |
