Very nice job! Where did that rubber steering column grommet come from?
|
Re: my 98' Streetrod build
Quote:
Grommet is the oem piece.I enlarged the openning,w/a razor knife, for the 2" tube. Had to scrub 10 yrs of grime off it,w/laquer thinner, to get it to look like that. |
Re: my 98' Streetrod build
lookin ggod bro. hay have you heared of any one using a nitrgen bottle? i boght the bis 200cf clyinder just wondering if they last long? i know play time must be conciterd buy for the most part a month mabe? thanxs

Re: my 98' Streetrod build
Thanks man,
Ive heard of them used in place of an air tank but havent heard of their performance. |
Re: my 98' Streetrod build
A friend of mine used nitrogen for a while but got a compressor and tank shortly after because he was going through it so fast and got tired of refilling it all the time.
|
Re: my 98' Streetrod build
The nitrogen bottle saved alot of headache for a friend when he was 9 hrs. from home and his compressor died. Everyday use may not be practical like stated above. He actually used the nitrogen for his train horn but a few tools and some time and he was rollin' again.

Re: my 98' Streetrod build
Man I have not seen this one before, I need to come over on this side more.. Look killer man!:metal: What's the plans for the Dash? And when's that motor going in?
|
Re: my 98' Streetrod build
Quote:
The dash is about finished. Its supposed to look that way..:lol:Actually I have a couple of pieces to still make for the 2 raised areas but its going to be pretty much the way it looks. The motor is going in as soon as my Friend Oscar gets finished going through the trans. He said next week,,Ive heard that one before. Thanks for lookin, ~T. |

Troy -
looking good man. Very original. PM me some info on how exactly that prop valve works. My original one had two lines going in, and three coming out, not sure if that one will work or not?? |
