I've been a card carrying electrician for 19 years, first 15 with the union.
Was doing alot of bath & kitchen remodels, door & window energy upgrades, and finish carpentry in Cali until this recent downturn.:waah: Now I'm looking for a plant electrician or maintenance job, or what ever decent paying gig comes my way. |

used to be a commercial fisherman, ever see the movie, THE PERFECT STORM? been there and done it. 15 years of it, seen my share of freaky sheeit, now a lowly CNC machinist, welder, metal fabricator.

I used to be an automotive service writer/parts counterman...but hard to find night work selling parts/service, so I am currently shift manager at my local Wawa (only those in PA, NJ, MD, VA & DE will know what I'm talking about :lol: )
I'm in the process of getting a job (keep your fingers crossed for me ;) ) with the local sheriff's office in records..... It's night work too :metal: |

30 years in the nuclear feild as of 1-15-09.
Work for Duke Energy here in SC, NC. I'm in maintenance stationed at Oconee Nuclear plant. I started out in pipe fitting then moved to maintenance. Worked the last 27 years in the fuel & head area of it. Now just plain maintenance. I have worked all over the country for them. I helped shut down Ranco Sayco in Cal. when they decided they didn't need the power anymore. I spent 5 weeks out there. Witnessed the 89 earth quake too! I left that Friday afternoon after it happened. I did a outage at ANO 1 in Arkansas a few years ago. I have worked 4 outages at Crystal River Fla. By best the best place to work other than home. |
