I like the older box better and think new one is little over priced Sweet&long.

I really like the Glo-mad box alot! BUT!... I ran out of room very quick with it because in the end it is a 3 bay classic series. They arent nearly as deep as the master series and man it makes tons of difference. Also I couldnt get any other accessories for the Glo-mad because it was painted the Candy Apple Red (more of a custom color and there are not alot of accessories for the classics).

But I have to agree! This Toolwagon box I got is way over priced if you are paying retail! But if you are paying retail then you are getting screwed no matter what box it is. I didnt pay anywhere close to retail. Maybe divide retail in half and that is what I got in it. Yeah still an expensive box but it has everything I wanted. A Master series box, stainless top, hutch, and the side cabinets that hold TONS of stuff. And Now I have somewhere to put that high dollar master ball joint kit and slide hammer without taking up a whole drawer!! hahah

Here's mine in serious need of cleaning. ;)
I bought the one on the right 20 years ago and it was old then  I paid a $1000. for it and remember telling the guy that's a lot of money for an empty tool box. He said look inside. It was full of Snap-on, Mac, etc tools. I was happy, he even let me make payments. The one on the left was bought one piece at a time. I got the top box from a swap meet for $250.00 and the bottom in pieces and badly faded, but it was free. I had it assembled and cleaned in three hours. :) The friend who gave it to me couldn't believe it was the same box. I repaid his generosity by fixing his truck. I'm trying to find a center section for the larger box. My son is quite the smart guy, he sometimes buys me tools and I said that was nice of you. His reply was their going to mine some day anyways.

I drilled 2 holes then cut out the center to make a key hole. I made this bracket but somebody does sell something similar but I can't recall who.

Re: Lets see your Toolbox!

sorry only picture I have of it on this computer but I got tired of having tools in different boxes, buckets and milk creats so I broke down and bought myself a box a couple years ago. let me tell you how nice it is to beable to find tools and the amount of double and triple tools I have because I'd thought I'd lot it.

the black roller is the new one, and its about 7 ft tall the red roller is known as the bi poler box because you dont know what you'll get when you open a drawer and the small one is full of tune'n stuff jets, carb parts, distribtor parts, plugs and wires

Here's my box at work when I first got it. Snap On man called my bluff. I said I would only buy a new box if it was a 67 chevy c-10 edition. Well he made arrangements and paid to have it airbrushed threw in the stainless top and a cover. I added the fender emblem. How on earth do you guys keep your drawers so organized in your work boxes? Mine are a mess half the time, we arent allowed to put away and organize on the clock and dont have 2 minutes between jobs as they are movin in as finished ones move out. I just keep commonly used tools on my cart and shove crap around in my box when I get a chance. Nice boxes though guys, dont see many like that round here, no one can afford them.

stano I live by the rule "I didnt drag all this crap out on my time I'm not putting it away on my time"

alot of bean counting employers dont understand if I have time to put stuff away and organized I'll save time not hunting for something

Re: Lets see your Toolbox!

thats so true I have a roll around cart but there's just a point you have to stop and put up all the tools in the cart to be able to find anything. Also when I open a drawer I know exactly what is missing. beleve me I been tested on that one.

Re: Lets see your Toolbox!

At work most of the time I have tools everywhere. It isn't a good practice because tools get lost this way. So I try to pick them off and clean them up after each big job. Or at the end of the week or month. Whatever comes first.

Not Much but what I have. The big one I have had 10+ years. I keep 90% of my tools in it. The small one was the first roll around box I ever bought. It was 87 and my freshman year in college. The BMW I had would break down every week and I hatted working out of an over crowed carry around. I keep body, electrical, weird and specialty tools in it now.
