I agree Jim, mostly by dealers. When my dad was in the business I remember getting a 82 Indy pace car Camaro, we had to install those stickers but there were some trucks in the 76-79 range the stickers came from factory
70'_402, offered to every dealer
Gene, thats what my wife said, women ar strange:lol:
Corsair, would love to see more info on the blazer

Just for you guys information
Chipflyer and I are going to get this thing fixed up in running condition this spring and then I'll probably try to sell it, I'm just not into 2wds much. All we have to do is get steering column fixed, and get tranny lines replaced where the thieves cut them to steal the radiator. It runs good, very original.
Thanks Randy

What condition is the inside of the bed in. My 72 had a camper on it when my dad purchased it. There was a piece of carpet cut to fit the bed. My dad removed the camper and carpet. The paint in the bed looked brand new. He then proceeded to use it as a truck. :dohh:

bed floor is good but it looks like they must of had a fifth wheel hitch in it, some bolt holes in it

Cool. What a really neat truck. I have to agree with the previous statements with regard to tilt. Not all promotional trucks had tilt. Also, the decals that are on it seem to be more prevalant in the western states along with the plaid seats. Sort of a regional marketing thing possibly. Just my 2 cents.

back in the early 80s there was a red 72 with the "eagle" stickers on it. at the time i had no idea G.M. produced such a thing. in the next town over from me is a trailer park called "eagle city" and i assumed he must have owned it. after i saw the advertisment many years later for all the different sticker packages i really felt stupid:dohh::hh:
cool truck Randy.

Very interesting truck Randy. I hope you don't part this one out. It sure is different. Looks like it was very unmolested when you bought it. You picked it up in Montana? That's a pretty good haul from Kansas huh? I didn't realize you were willing to go so far to pick them up. You need me to keep an eye around here for any in particular? subscribed.

Hey Mike, had it hauled down here. Its not getting parted, it drives super. I'm taking it to swap meet this weekend. I look for trucks in a 5 state area but with gas prices the way they are, I'm cutting back the distance. Thanks Randy

Those mudflaps are awesome!

I recall seeing one of those in my neighborhood as a youngster.
Nice piece of history.
