One of my best friends has a 67 LeMans painted very similar in color. It looks amazingly green in the sun, black at night...

Very nice, your dash looks great all around, not just the AC controls !!

So I have the right vette covers but to use them I have to modify them and do the crafty " Dino conversion " to get a pcv and breather into them...Yea they are polished and powder coated.....then i decided too modify them....poor timing on my part.

That looks sweet man!!! Sooo jealous. Where'd you score the filler door?

I found the filler door down in Phoenix and had my local guys track it down for me here...just getting ready to cut in the next day or so. I had to drop my fuel tank and remove a board from the section I wanted to install into....pain in the a$$ to say the least. But my tank had the filler in the wrong spot so wanted to mark it and have it done right

Did I miss something?
Your color (here on my screen) is a Dark almost bluish/black sinister green. Black in the dark, light hits it and POW.

Ain't fair to keep it a secret I tell ya. oh btw, bed wood looks good too.

It's based on a VW color and then we messed with it a bit...for the record I don't want Bomp not sleeping at night...lol

Those valve covers look so awesome. Definitely be worth the trouble of making them work.

Me either ....I think once it's polished and the sun hits it it's going to be deadly. It looks good in the shop with crappy lights so ....I hope it was the right color choice.

Yea I recked the roller rocker set up and they clear so.....I figured out what i need to do to make it work and there is no going back once the drill hits it...lol....But thanks I was nervous powder coarting the red into those fins but it looks great. The next trick for me is to get the right air cleaner to go with those covers.....something finned.....something with out a brand labeled all over it.

I haven't seen how Dino did his valve covers, but here's how I hid the PCV connection on mine:

It may be of interest if you haven't started drilling yet.

Great job...great design...and thanks alot for sharing that...

Well I bent up the fuel line from the pump up to the carb today between some other tasks....it took awhile to get it bent the way I wanted and I am not sure yet if I want to try it one more time , so I am giving it a day to grow on me.....lol
