Changed the front and rear pads to another Wellwood number, don't remember which one, it does "Stop" a little better when it gets some heat in them, Next we changed out the booster to a double 7" ,and at least we can feel them stopping! I guess the next step will be to change the master cylinder to a 15/16" |
Re: Arizona Steel 46
Did Wilwood have any advice?
|
Re: Arizona Steel 46

Re: Arizona Steel 46
Looks awesome solid. Especially from where you started. Get the brake issue figured out? I have a Wilwood master and booster combo coming and called them for advice for flex lines for my C4 calipers. I found the person I talked to not very knowledgeable. Nice chap but had no idea on fittings etc. Called Ecklers and they were worse. Corvette specialists. Never would have figured I would have such a hard time figuring out what SS flex lines to order. I feel your pain.

WOW, I love the look. NO chop, No shave, No billet, No bags, I like all those things on some projects, but that look is fantastic! Great stance, Great color. Can a truck be to nice???? What is that windshield frame?

WOW, I know I am late to this thread but what a beauty! The stance is perfect. So many questions but did you fill out one of Hart_Rods LSx Swappers What Ya Got information sheet?
Thanks for sharing. |
Re: Arizona Steel 46
Thanks for looking Kermitt
No I did not fill out a sheet, but not so much time has passed that I can still remember a few of the problems, The truck now has 6500 miles and runs strong and the air blows cold! |
Re: Arizona Steel 46

Re: Arizona Steel 46
I am loving the engine air intake over the rad. Was that all custom work or were you able to recycle some parts? Also, did the truck oil pan work or did you have to change it?
Thanks |
Re: Arizona Steel 46
The intake and cold air was a great idea but we are using a MAF instead of speed density tune............. looks great but there were too many bends and the computer did not like it, so we had to scrap it for a 180* pipe and HOT air cleaner on top of the plenum.
Still working on a cover and air cleaner for the top of the engine No the truck pan was way too low to the ground so the change was a camaro pan |
