Re: Picked Up A Hitch Hiker Today
Man both those trucks are nice, what a duo, but my heart goes to the short box 4wd, just Killer.

Re: Picked Up A Hitch Hiker Today
Very nice! Now to get my truck looking close to your 4x4, so I can get a pix with dads crew and my SWB on a trailer! yes, I am jealous and everyone knows it!

Re: Picked Up A Hitch Hiker Today
Replaced the grill support with a straight OEM support from my stash of spare parts. Installed a new grill, front bumper and rear license plate. I had to make a spacer to lower license plate mount to make room for license plate frame.

Re: Picked Up A Hitch Hiker Today
Made the trip down to Phoenix, Arizona to Dino's world famous Pre Show Git Down. Loaded up and on my way.

We were the first ones there. http://i1237.photobucket.com/albums/...pse78d0b8e.jpg Dino helping me stage the Crew. http://i1237.photobucket.com/albums/...ps5a9a05ab.jpg This Green trucks owner drove all the way from Ohio just to come to Dino's party. http://i1237.photobucket.com/albums/...pscedf2e2b.jpg http://i1237.photobucket.com/albums/...ps6aeb9264.jpg This was by far Dino's biggest and best party. Thanks again to Dino and his family for being such great host's. So many cool trucks showed up, some had to be turned away. Dino is going to have to find a larger place to hold this event in 2015. More photos to follow. |
Re: Picked Up A Hitch Hiker Today
looks cool, I said a couple years ago that dino was going to end up with his own show!
I mean he already has one-the git down-, but I mean an actual couple day event separate from the goodguys.... |

Re: Picked Up A Hitch Hiker Today
A snow storm rolled through central and northern Arizona on New Years Eve. This could be the first time the 66 Crew has seen snow as it was bought new in Phoenix, Arizona and lived in Wickenburg, Arizona its whole life. 110 degree plus heat desert country. Can't wait to get a big enough garage built to get all my trucks inside out of the weather.

Did you move back to Utah? I was looking for you this year at Dino's. Last year you said you had moved to Phoenix. I assume you still have the panel, the truck and the beautiful girl that you brought with you to the show last year? |

beautiful crew you have there. I found a 61 recently but needs a lot of work.

Re: Picked Up A Hitch Hiker Today
66 Gilbert
Do you live in or around Cottonwood, Sedona area ? Kind of looks like that area. Nice trucks by the way. |

And for helping save another 60-66 Crew Cab. I have seen several threads that members have given up on trying to build there own Crew Cab out of several cabs. I take my hat off to those that have attempted to build one. It is so much easier to start with one that the coach companies have already built but have been well used and abused. So keep up the good work, you are that much ahead of others that have tried. Quote:
Yes this is in Cottonwood and the mountain behind in the picture is Mingus Mountain. It is beautiful here as well as the Red Rocks of Sedona when it snows. |
Re: Picked Up A Hitch Hiker Today
I thought so, it's in my territory and I've been going up there for 15 yrs once a week so I'm pretty familiar with the area. Thought about moving up the there at one time.
