installed some new plugs and wires, and got the ol' gmc fired up, and then the trans pooped the bed for some unknown reason, so we spent the day getting a replacement and putting it in...

What fuel injectors did you use with the intake

thanks! I used the stock truck injectors with the edelbrock intake, I had to remove the plastic rings on the end of the injectors to get them to seat in the intake so the O-rings would seal...and I also had to slot the holes in the fuel rails to bolt them on because of the truck injectors being taller. I also had two injectors that were no good so I had to borrow two from another motor......why can't they make aftermarket stuff compatible with the truck motors???

I've been driving ol' blue and working the bugs out...got all the signals, park, and brake lights working now...I've been having some issues with the transmission, I'm on the second one now, the first wouldn't move so I swapped it out for another one and its sketchy as well so I'm going to get the first one rebuilt....

since it rained all weekend and not much else to do I buffed the truck again, with a little more elbow grease this time.

got the tranny rebuilt and back in, still having some issues with driveability...think it's a VSS problem.
