Yes, congrats to Maggie :)

Don't blame you at all for spending time with her instead of working on the truck.

Great project. I will be looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

Did moving the front shock outward cause any interference issues with your front tires at full lock?
Looks like it would have been easier to move the brake line tab?
Your work and fab skills are great!
Just wondering.

No issue at all with the steering. Moving the brake tabe would have been easy but the shock was also hitting the crossmember, I was having to put the shock in a bind in order to clear the crossmember when using the stock lower mount.
Thanks!!

Small update. I took the bed rails, wood slat rails, and tubs out. Welded the two front bed rails together. Made some simple plates to mount the pump, tank, and valves too. And got the air bags mounted and the air lines run.

Thanks for all the comments!! Yes I'm doing all the work myself, Maggie helps when, if she can. I feel like I should be going faster!! Having to work every other Saturday really slows me down!! Hoping to move on to the brakes (swap master and run new lines) next week, than I can swap out my column (need to gather some junk yard parts too) than get the motor and trans in. The bad news is I'm running out of time! I'm in a rent house and moving next month to a house with no garage:( It has a shop but needs some work (a lot of work!) so I'll be spending the next few months fixing it up. The good news is I'll have a big enough yard and shop to have all my cars and trucks in one place!!

Looking good. Keep an eye on that flat sway bar tab on the a-arm. Those things see a TON of pressure during cornering. You may want to brace it with some pieces angled up for support. You can't see the hole for the link in this picture, but look how heavy the sway bar mounting tab is on my Porterbuilt lower a-arm. Just some food for thought.

When I got home from work I trimed up the bed to clear the tires and had one of the guys from work (Chris) come over to help me get the bed on so Maggie could have a look!!! (I wanted to see too!)
I wanted a big tire on a 8 inch wheel, if I had it to do over I would go with a 5inch offset (this is 4 1/4), but this is the look I wanted!!!

I'm a big believer in the perfect stance only works with the right tires!! After looking at a few trucks I chose the 205/70r15 for the front with the stock 6 in wheels, in the rear they are 15x8 with the 4/1/4 rear off set with 275/60r15 BFGs. I would do the same tire with more offset, (less bed notching) 5 inches would be perfect. You could run a little smaller tire 255/60r15 with less problems.
Thanks for the comments!! I look at your build everyday to get ideas!!

Guess you know me well, its taking everything I got not to order it! All my extra money is going into the new shop, so the front will have to wait. I've got two weeks left before the move, hoping to get a lot done, well see.
