After some clever rewiring and mating to American Autowire harness and the correct style bulb sockets (pc) style we have lighting for the gauges and hi beam indicator also working. Gas guage also. Mounted actual lh and rh signal lamps in dash. Installed an under dash courtesy light with a switch on the passanger side.

Re: The Snortin' bull

I don't know why the past owners put all the hole's in the dash? I put misc. lamp's and period matching knob's in them though 2 of them became actual turn signal indicator's for left and right not just a lit dash cluster lamp.

The start of the exhaust from the header's out to the rear.Gonna have to be creative to keep tight high up and routed clear of everything.Left a clear route for it during the build.I think?

The previous owner (po) had put the blower fan switch in the glove box. Using a spare knob I moved the switch to the dash .Adapted it to one of the factory hole plugs. The original factory AIR lever is now the cable to open the water control valve.

Dropped 1960 gmc front shot. "Just cool I think". Maybe in the eye's of restoration or antiquier people they may feel this ruined. This is preservation.

Adapting the 1960 gmc hubcap's to later model 5 on 5 wheel's.This is still a budget build . I had some (impala) Caprice Police Cruiser rim's around so I used these for the Bull at this time. Kept it simple to keep the cap's retained.

Re: The Snortin' bull

The axle's are back.Reinstalled them today into housing. Redrilled for 5 on 5 and turned down in the center to fit the later model drum's.FYI or BTW on these early Dana 44 axle's they use same as the big Ford ( torino ) axle bearing's very common and they are 30 spline axle shaft's.

Re: The Snortin' bull

Rear brake drum's are on. As other's have noted in the past on these build's 11 x 2 finned from later c-10's work and clear the backing plate.
