Yup, the wife and I rode our Heritage Softail to the annual Toy Run from Avila to Creston. Avila Beach is only 35mins. from our place. It was a bitter cold ride that morning, but it warmed up before we left Avila for Creston. I like the ride hieght on this one.

Beautiful truck. Great stance. What type of wheels are the new ones? Can you share the size, offset and back spacing.....appreciate it. Also what size rubber front and rear.

Take a look at his build thread. "Proj Farm truck".
He listed these wheel and tire specs in that tread.

front - Rim 20x8.5 w/ 5.25BS
Rear - Rim 20x8.5 w/ 4.50BS
Tires are 245/35/ZR20

Well I am kind of in a catch 22. I live in the middle of nowhere and keep my 59 GMC in the southern world. Living in the middle of nowhere has allowed me to afford the toys, and with my job I get 9 weeks vacation so I spend the summer living near Edmonton Alberta. So for 6 or 7 weeks I am camping on family land and relaxing, and driving my 59 GMC. The rest of the year, well that is why I know have my 69 GMC. It's sitting outside ready to go, if I plug it in ;)

4x4 conversion..found this truck without a engine or tranny..sitting in my backyard was a rusted out denver colorado victim 1980 blazer...three years later this is as far as i have finished it..

We drive ours year round, but then I have liberals to deal with! As much as I love the landscape of CA. and have been blessed to own a home I can afford, I want to join a militia in Idaho, lol. At least there you can own a gun without being a criminal. Not to mention the CA SMOG I deal with on my IROC and Tahoe.

that tube is what i/they call a swamp cooler, or A/C to the pr guys :lol:

My dad had one mounted on our 54 Ford; didn't work worth a D#*% unless you were on the highway. Even then not very well.
It worked great for prestige.

I think back 4 years ago it came from LMC, I just ordered one from Mar-k Monday as they were on sale for my 53.
