Re: Do you need '64-'66 Chevy Truck Parts?
Well Tony, I almost destroyed the hood going home. I was 20 miles from my family's residence (Arkansas) when they called me and told me and dad to pull over as there was golf ball size hail and 10 tornados in the Fort Smith area. We stopped under a big over pass and let it blow over. Yea no DAMAGE.

Re: Do you need '64-'66 Chevy Truck Parts?
Tony,
I have a question I was hoping you could help me with, how hard is it to find a chrome rear bumper for a 66' Suburban. My truck currently has the white painted bumpers front and rear and I would like to upgrade. I can buy repro front bumper but have yet to see a Suburban rear. Someone told me the rear bumper is the same as the front but I don't think that's true. I would take my front off and try it but the PO welded the bumpers to the brackets, who knows why? Thanks for your help, Dave |
Re: Do you need '64-'66 Chevy Truck Parts?

Thanks for the 4-5-6 Chevy Truck parts inquiry. I have heard the 4-5-6 Burb rear bumper is different from the truck bumpers and rather hard to find. That being said, I do not have one at this time...painted or chrome. You might try RJ on www.stovebolt.com. He is a good source of '60-'66 Chevy Trucks and parts. You may have to have your factory painted rear bumper chromed. Sorry I am not better able to help you, but please keep me in mind for other 4-5-6 Chevy Truck parts in the future. |

Re: Do you need '64-'66 Chevy Truck Parts?
Hey Tony,
Just wanted to check on the V8 engine perches for my 1966 K10 have you had a chance to get a pair off? |
Re: Do you need '64-'66 Chevy Truck Parts?
Quote:
First and foremost, sorry for my delay in responding. I pulled one pair, only to discover, they were not factory, instead they were fabricated and installed by the previous owner and not suitable to send to you. The second pair was for a 292, which is different than the V8 perches. I have located a third pair and I am in the process of getting them bought and shipped to me. Sorry for the delay...these are a little more elusive than I anticipated. I will keep you posted of my progress and will work hard to expedite the process. |
Re: Do you need '64-'66 Chevy Truck Parts?
Just curious if you got right and left fenders for a 66. Possibly even a end gate for a fleetside long box. Curious on prices. It would be shipped to North Dakota (58788) Thanks

Re: Do you need '64-'66 Chevy Truck Parts?
Hi Tony,
I am in need of three things. First, an original steering wheel. Second, an original radio for a 66. (I would actually prefer a non working one, as I'm going to be modifying it.) and third, an original antenna could you Pm me with prices on those items if you've got them? Thanks Jon |
Re: Do you need '64-'66 Chevy Truck Parts?
Tony,
Hello, I'm looking for a factory A/C setup for a 64-66, specifically the vents, controls, and evaporator/heater box-case (all of the inside the cab parts) . I have a 66 C10 panel truck with the two speed fan and firewall mounted heater box and would like to upgrade/add A/C to my truck. I plan on modifying the system to use R134a and use a one off compressor - most likely a sanden unit and will be purchasing new condensor and evaporator coils as well as fabricating the refrigerant lines and brackets for this application. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance, Pete |

Unfortunately, I don't have any personal, first-hand experience with the Suburbans or Panels, therefore I can not speak to the fit-up of the front or rear bumpers or the interchangeability of them between the Suburbans/Panels and trucks. Sorry I couldn't be more help to you. |
