Re: project "DIRTY BURB"
nothing on mine as i have no extra money to spend on it, :( but once i finish with school and start working, i will hopefully be able to save up money and buy parts for it so that i can work on it when ever i have time.... i will be lucky if im home 4 days a month (or less depending how long i stay out), but thats because the more i drive the more i will make :)

if u say so.....looks pretty good ...not perfect truck body line ...from roll pan all the way around to other side.. truck lights and backup lights...flushed the lenses.... i think we just need a new skin later....pretty sweet otherwise...burbs dont really have this body line or the "chevrolet"...had to do some pretty custom touches....truck tailgate is wider than burbs and taillight body panel is smaller...upper body line next to tailgate had to be extended...and so did body line on body under lights to the roll pan
|
Re: project "DIRTY BURB"
Hey man what roll pan are you using?
Rear looks good man. Posted via Mobile Device |
Re: project "DIRTY BURB"

Re: project "DIRTY BURB"
was hand made to fit.....at the time couldnt find one....and thx....i like because its still 67-72 stuff, just truck stuff on a burb....95 % of people wont even know, unless i point it out 2 them

Re: project "DIRTY BURB"

I want to do something like that but then french a smoothed out bumper into it on a future truck build....and how you centered the lettering I have a chevrolet panel made custom in the old 50's script I plan to put in a gate with a handle flip...one of these days ;) |

Re: project "DIRTY BURB"
Why is the front one coming off?

Re: project "DIRTY BURB"
me no likey no more...looks like ass actually its all dented, bent, doesnt seem to fit rite...may figure out how to mount a newer smooth silverado bumper on,,of course, sectioned, narrowed to fit nicely....plus i can make the mounts for the bumper lower...so it'll look lower in the front...it's the highest part of the whole truck

Re: project "DIRTY BURB"
that was the original plan for me too...if u look at the drawings done....but still not sure,,,i like both looks...more the pan on the trucks than burbs
Still up in the air if I'm going to do a roll pan. If I do it it's all getting shave and welded together, seams and all. Posted via Mobile Device[/QUOTE] |
Re: project "DIRTY BURB"
Very nice 1sick7T2 burb you have:metal:.
One question about your flip over hood-system. Is that custom made or it it available at a shop? It looks very nice! Never seen that before. Those licenseplates, is it possible to get some plates for somebody who's living outside The States, just for fun-use, or are there restricted rules to get some custom-made californian plates? I look forward to see the final paintjob on your suburban. Regards, The Frisian outlaw |
