hey moggey01, all the patch metal parts came from gmc pauls . my fab guy said everything fit pretty well except the rockers . and he had to modify them pretty much to work . but i guess that may be the norm i don't know . all the parts were around $800.00 shipped . and labor was $1000.00 and that was supposed to be discounted . still lots $ money to me and now Ive got to repair my doors with patch panels now or get different ones:waah: thanks for looking..

that is a pretty good price, I am having the same exact work done and the cost is higher. I am with you, I am tired of fabbing everything and sometimes you just got to write the check. I left it to the pro. good luck on the rest of the project.

hey benc-10, i just used a clean strip pad on a drill they also have them for a angle grinder which i think works a lot better but doesn't last as long, they are made by avanti PRO and came from home depot, for around $10.00.. thanks for looking..jw

well we started smoothing the firewall today, called porter built yesterday and he said he was a week or so out on firewall filler panel, didn't want to wait so we made our own . i guess a bead roll would've looked better . to late now . but still looks good
