If the flashing inside the tubing isn't to bad my buddy is going to mandrel bend the rear section for me.

Looks like I won't be having the rear section bent up.. the weld flashing inside the tubing was to big for the mandrel so looks like I will have to build it from U-Bends.

Man, any compliment I give you just would not do your truck any justice so I'll just tell you I have those same mufflers and they sound great. I think you're gonna like 'em.

I got my other muffler Friday, so I finally finished up the exhaust. I do have to make one more little mount toward the back to just hold the end of the exhaust pipe in place.

I love the build quality on this truck.
The exhaust turned out incredible. Love the flex couplings, and the muffler mounts in the rear are a slick touch. Most people don't realize how difficult it is to make a full exhaust for a bagged vehicle. All of the area normally reserved for mufflers is taken up by the rear links, and you have to consider clearance at all ride heights. That is tough to do. The chassis color is nice and subtle. I'd do the engine and trans in the same color, too. I assume the outside of the truck will be black again? |
