Thanks for the compliments guys, my wife and I are at home now and she is doing much better. Grayson seems to have adjusted well. Eat, sleep, poop, repeat! Here is a pic of him at 3 days old

That picture reminds me of our just 22 months ago. Enjoy every minute of it because it's not long and he'll be 22 months and you'll wonder where the time went.

Well, we are due for a much needed update. The new little one slowed progress for a couple of weeks but I was finally able to get back into the swing of things this week. Here is a picture of where the kitchen is as of right now. It still needs trim, paint, and backsplash. All of that will come when I trim rest of house. At least we have a fully functioning kitchen again! The 2nd and 3rd pics are of where I am beefing up the trusses in preperation of cutting a truss for the hallway that will go from existing upstairs to the new bedroom above the garage.

To this point my focus has been on getting the kitchen, dining room and laundry room together. I am now switching to the entry way, new living room and new bedroom above garage. Here are some current pics.....The dark door with no window goes into the garage and you can see the start of a future fireplace.

Yesterday it was 60 degrees and sunny here so I tackled the new entryway. heres a pic of the before and the process.

worked into the dark on it but got it ready for siding. also a pic from the inside. Its amazing how much brighter the entry was this morning with the new windows. I still have to tear of porch roof and build new one to look like my rendering.

I've talke with him over the phone and I know he has been busy with the baby, family and life in general. Knowing him, I'd say he has everything buttoned up on the house or atleast putting on the final touches.

Thanks Nate, yes life definitely slows things down. Our little guy is for sure the priority but I have slowing continued to work on the house. I have taken lots of pictures and I need to take the time and update the thread.
