Steve,

I'm Sorry I could not meet your spec. I really wish I could have done it better. If you dont get one built by the time the CNC guy and I get back in line, yours will be the first off the machine. Until then, I will continue to build the old design for customers.

Kyle

Thanks Kyle, I appreciate that.

Finally back making these the original way. All the machinist around here cant seem to grasp the isea or dont want to mess with 100-200 pieces. so back to making them out of my jig.

I did make a change making them 1" narrower so now the outside diameter is 6"x10" I have a good stack built and ready to ship and will be coming in sunday to finish the blanks I have cut.

In stock and ready to ship. Fredstruckparts.com

Well I was doing some work under the dash looked up and noticed my speaker holder has fallen down. Not sure why but has anyone else had an issue?
Trying to figure out if I want to use the same stuff to remount it.
I don't imagine it's going to be real easy to get the old stuff off the bottom of the dash.

do you remember how big of a bead you used? and also how clean were both surfaces? Yours will be the first known case of the speaker plate coming off. I would like to help find a solution to this issue. please let me know what I can do to help.

I dont remember how big it was. I used windex to clean the surfaces and then an alcohol pad for final prep. I also let it sit for a few days before removing the zip ties and mounting the speakers.
If this is the only one you have herd of I will use the same stuff and try to get some more on it this time. For now I will just blame it on Trump.:haha::lol::haha:

Not yet. Between long days at work cold weather and snow I haven't had the gumption to redo it yet. Plus with as cold as it is I'm sure it would be better to wait until it warms back up.
