I see this one quite often parked where it is in the evenings and weekends. An old workhorse GMC sitting on a Sunday evening waiting to start work Monday morning ...

1967 big Window K that was out and about on the island. It was bouncing the passengers around a bit with its stiff ride but it was very clean if a bit weathered. Sorry had to turn off before I could get next to him at a light and get more info. Those with a good eye might notice the roof lights and I can say it's V8 auto.

Saw this Jimmy not six blocks from where I saw the green stepper I posted above. I have really grown to like those 70's turbine wheels.

This guy has had the GMC for years. He is a Landscaper and uses the trailer for his work.

Nice 67. That would be worth knocking on a door to inquire about.

Re: Trucks in the Wild
Nope....actually took it out of the window of my truck with my iPhone. I was surprised as to how well it turned out myself!

Here's a few interesting pics. If the "clean" one looks a little weird, your right. I had to stop and talk to the guy out of curiosity. If you think you know, shoot off a guess. I apologize about the pics being upside down, tried like heck to fix it... I've obviously failed.

Maybe this will work....
Looks like someone "cabbed" a blazer. :) |
Re: Trucks in the Wild
The clean one is a blazer and looks to be 4wd too

Re: Trucks in the Wild
Ryan50, here's a thread that will help you with your image rotation issue http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=743225.
I assume that you are using an iPhone (or other Apple device) to take your pictures. If so, here's how to insure that any picture you take in the future will be right-side-up when you post it. The home button must be in your right hand not your left (or at the bottom) when taking a photo. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/a...1&d=1500994862 |
Re: Trucks in the Wild

This poor thing wandered too far away from the herd. May have to help put it down soon.

Caught this one yesterday. As I was pulling away the lady who owns it came out and got all excited about my Burban and wanted to talk, but her Harley/crack head man was not happy about that. So I left pronto as they were arguing about it. The back was crammed full of scrap metal. The canoe on top was chock full of stuff too. Later on that night I saw it driving down the road and surprisingly it sounded pretty good.

'67 top was grafted onto a '71 blazer. It has a well done graft, a nicely done 4" lift and the engine has been replaced with a 4cyl Cummins diesel. Can't wait to see the finished project. |
