familytruckster have a question if you only take 1.5 inches on both sides ca you still keep the same axels? will you cut 1.5 off of each side just wondering??

I will make the cuts to the axle housing so as the pinion will be centered not the pumpkin. I need to keep the driveshaft away from nearby bits. |

Here is a comparison between a stock 9 inch axle and the aftermarket shaft that is trimmable. The stock shaft necks down and cannot be resplined longer.

So, life happens.
Still working on the truck. There has been one mishap. I lost my grip and dropped the cab when we were putting it back on the frame. The rear cab corners took the worst hit, but it did put a wave in under the rear window. |
