Thanks...
Well, I think I got it... If i weld a tube of the proper diameter and lenght(to include an O Ring) to the VC, I can push the PCV valve in but not hit the rocker arms. Then with some modeling clay and saran wrap on the inside of the VC I will be able to see how much clearance I have for the diffuser.

After reading some threads on the truck side, I see how it is supposed to work

Or, do nothing and let the Offy's vent

But seriously, things are looking great!

Sorry Tim, missed your reply. Can't accept credit for them, InLine Tube did all the work, and great people to deal with. Called them numerous times with questions and they were always helpful and friendly. Still have to buy the emergency brake cables

Thanks for the offer, but after 35 years of crawling around in grease in all sorts of temperatures I'm sticking with Pharmaceuticals ( Sterile and Aseptic)

Gonna take a little break for a while, had some holes bored in my body yesterday(not the tub) and pending their
outcome....weeeellllll we will see. The one on my right hand hurts the most, and I don't want to get any rust or grease in it. So I'll just sit back, gather parts, and talk to you all

Short break, I hope! Amazing what turns these builds take. So, please post up lots of pics. and info., so I'll have something to do in boredom:lol:

Hope its nothing serious, would be a shame to keep a guy with your skills, who enjoys this as much as you do, out of the shop for too long.

Heal up quick!!

This is just the start of my health issues, seems like I've burnt the candle at both ends for to long. But the Mrs. is keeping an eye on this crabby ol' SOB, and according to her things will change lol

Couple new things happening around here...tired of running compressor/sandblast cabinet, trying out a chemical to remove rust. Will let you know of the results.

Also picked up a trans pan/with cooling tubes. I want to put a gauge on it, so I was going to use a engine temp. sensor and mount a gauge in my dash where my vacuum gauge is now...trans. temp. is more important than vacuum to me at this point

I'm sure it does look good, but I'm thinking low buck, for the guys that don't have blasting cabinets like me. Also will be trying p/c systems for the shadetree guys

Re: PO has me PO'd

Do the electrolysis on that rusty part..

Get a plastic bucket, baking soda, water, piece of steel (rod or plate) and a battery charger. Mix the soda and water together submerging the part, hook the negative line to the part and the positive line onto the steel rod outside the water (but the rod entering the water) and put on a low charge overnight... MAGIC! and cheaper than chemicals..
