Re: My 57 Pro Street
My sills still had the "protection" in place. A small 45 degree gusset about midway that was spot welded to the sill and the step. I was going to reinstall but have now decided I will be copying your design. Nice. Dug

Haven't been able to do much as I have my son and grand daughter to take care of until school is back in session. My boy is also playing in a band that performs every Wednesday at Disneyland so getting to and from rehearsals takes up a bunch of time. Looking forward to school starting back up. Kim |

Your cab and bed look awesome!!!! Super clean work you do. Patience of a saint you have. I lack that. :(

Finally a littler progress to show. Got the top and bottom of the cab in primer. Last pic is after a lite sanding with some 80 grit on a long board. I may be able to get by with a coat of spray on filler as its not too bad. Kim |

Re: My 57 Pro Street
Kim, I sat down tonight and went through your entire build thread. Like many have commented you do great work and have so many excellent fabrication ideas. Learned a lot tonight and thank you for sharing your journey. Love it!

Re: My 57 Pro Street
glad to see you back on your truck
nothing on these trucks requires a long board long board will do nothing but make flat spots on a convex surface try using a long piece of hard foam that will conform to the curves of that roof truk never saw a hard block for sanding, foam blocks for every surface |

The board I used is a Dura Block that's only 16-1/2 inches but it's the longest I have. Kim |
Re: My 57 Pro Street
