This was for sale a couple years ago in Oregon. Still kick myself for not buying it. I even called the owner months later to see if it sold. Guess it was bought and its somewhere in Michigan.

What's the engine and trans combo and are you still using the np205 with the set-up?? |
Re: post your 67-72 4x4
Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. Life got in the way.
I am using a 6.0L and a 4L80E. The engine and trans are stock and use a stock 411 computer that has been slightly modified. I modified the harness myself. |

Drove it from New Orleans to Nashville for the Southeastern Truck Nationals. 1237 mile round trip. We found a little dirt road on the way home so we pulled off and got the tires dirty. At this point my 4 year old said "Regular trucks can only go on the concrete, but Monster trucks can go on the concrete and ANYWHERE"

1972 K-5 Blazer. 350/SM465/NP205. Rust free truck now.
It will go under the knife in the fall. Going back to the automatic 350/NP205. Staging/collecting things for an LS swap (a constant debate). And most importantly ditching the 68 front clip and the cowl induction hood going back to the 72. Not of offend but having a cowl induction hood is similar to being kicked in the sack. Each and every time I look at it. Just not my cup of tea. LOL The HELO hooptie wheels will go as well. Late in the fall/early in the winter my plans are for it to be a bright orange, somewhere between the hugger orange of yesteryear and the hemi-orange of today. Plan. Plans. Plans. LOL Scott |
Re: post your 67-72 4x4
Looks like a solid base for a nice truck! Wish you were closer. I would trade you front clips. I am not much for the cowl hood either but I love 67-68 clips.

Re: post your 67-72 4x4
It should be available in the fall so if you are in the neighborhood......stop by.

I recently purchased this 100% original paint survivor in Dutchess Co. NY..I'm hoping somebody recognizes this truck as I believe it was a one owner truck prior to the person I bought it from.....Its rusted & dented, but no signs of accidents or previous body work. The interior is untouched & the seat is in excellent condition with a few minor tears.... The person I bought the truck from removed the original wheels as they had a split ring & tires dry rotted....He did not keep the wheels :( I am also searching for the production numbers of this model but came up dry on the "Standard Catalog of American Lt. Duty Trucks 3rd Edition. The catalog list my vehicle description as KS10904 with a hyphen on numbers produced, as in unknown.....I know its a pretty rare truck and discovered it was a Oshawa Canadian built truck. Just would like to know how many were built.......If anyone has a similar truck would like to hear from you....

My twisted point is 'that' is the only way it could turn out no matter how you put it. Three fine trucks!! Mine likes to be heard as well as seen. The wheels & tires I've since changed to the ones shown a few posts back, but here's a couple minutes of my '72 K2500 |
