That is truely beautiful. I know that isn't inspected yet, I would have noticed that on the street or at walmart! LOL, Maybe someday I will see it in person!

wow, i've been reading this thread for a couple of days and only made it through about 25 pages. what a great looking truck, and your son is thrilled I know. the effort you put into doccumenting it all is amazing, and i'm sure i'll reference back to it many times in the future as i begin my own project.
congrats on a fine build!

Thanks Nate, it's ready to go now, we got it insured and tagged as a xmas gift for him. Not sure why i am no longer getting emails when ppl post,ill look around and see if i can find a turn on button... lol

you live close, so you should see it alot here shortly. he is conscious about it until we get some protection on it, so i doubt he will leave it in the wally parking lot...... The photoshop looks good! I hope he dont see the pic.

I was joshing with ya, but since you volunteered... :metal: I need to get that darn ebrake cover installed , but with no holes in the bottom of the dash, im not sure where it bolts.

What about a measurement from the driver side where the dash meets the pillar to where the ebrake cover starts. I have tried mocking it up and it just looks funny... I need to find those pics you took for me awhile back....

Heath...here ya go....I measured from the driver door weather seal along the edge where the dash comes down and bends under...that's 9 9/16" to the center of the screw....then from the bend back to the center of the screw is right at 1"...see the attached pic and let me know if you need other measurements....Also note that the face of the ebrake cover is flush to where the dash bends under.....is that clear as mud:D
